EUCHARISTIC ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT

What is Eucharistic Adoration?

Eucharistic Adoration is a time spent in the loving presence of Jesus Christ, who is truly and fully present, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in the Blessed Sacrament. Although we cannot see Him with our eyes, faith assures us that we are in the Real Presence of Christ.


During Adoration, we are invited to simply watch, wait, and remain with Jesus. In the quiet of His presence, we can pray, speak with Him in the depths of our hearts, listen for His voice, or simply rest in His love. There is no need for elaborate words or actions; our presence itself becomes an act of loving adoration.


As we spend time before the Blessed Sacrament, we open our hearts to the grace that flows from Christ. Sitting with him, Jesus gently draws us closer, transforming our hearts and shaping us more fully into the people God created us to be. Eucharistic Adoration is ultimately an invitation to be with Jesus to contemplate His goodness, encounter His love, and allow His presence to transform us.

Adoration Chapel

Our adoration chapel is located in the St. Benedict Cathedral Catholic Church at 1328 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville, IN 47714. Adorers are needed to cover each hour that the Blessed Sacrament is exposed. Please prayerfully consider making a weekly commitment and sign up below.

Chapel Hours

  • Monday: 8am - noon in the Adoration chapel
  • Eucharistic Adoration is open every Monday noon to 6pm in the Cathedral Church with Benediction at 5:45pm
  • Tuesday through Friday: 8am - 3:30pm
  • Saturday: 8am - 4pm


Times outside these regularly scheduled hours are available but require an access code. Email Lisa Roth to request access.
