PARISH EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
St. Benedict Cathedral Parish is seeking an Executive Assistant reporting to the Rector. We are a parish with 1150 families, a vibrant and excellent school and a mission to bring Jesus Christ to all with whom we come in contact.
The Parish Executive Assistant will provide administrative support to the Pastor and the School Principal. This will include supervising the administrative staff, coordinating and monitoring assigned financial functions, drafting correspondence, and preparing necessary documents and information for upcoming events.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in an office environment including 5 years of experience as an executive assistant, excellent verbal and written communication skills, is self-motivated, a problem solver, pays close attention to details and able to work independently. Confidentiality is essential. Must have strong skills in Word and Excel and the ability to learn and utilize proprietary software systems. An understanding of financial reports and activities is essential. Must be able to work in a religious and school-centered environment.
